Don’t Act Like Prey! Be Assertive! (4)

How we act in our relationships define if are passive, assertive, or aggressive.

Sometimes, doesn’t it seem like life would be easier if we didn’t have to deal with other people?  Supervisors, co-workers, employees, spouses, children, in-laws, step-in-laws?

That is not the world we live in, however!  We have relationships with dozens of people and have to deal with a large number of them each day.

Stop and think for a moment about all the professional and personal relationships that you have.  Are you always assertive in these relationships?  Would it be advantageous to be assertive, or assertive more consistently, in these relationships?

If so, please read the upcoming blogs for ideas on how to do so!
